Six British creatives have been selected for the Art Directors Club's Young Guns 7 awards. A total of 50 up-and-coming talents from across the globe were picked.
ADC Young Guns claims it is "the only international, cross-disciplinary, portfolio-based awards competition that identifies today's vanguard of young creative professionals". It's open to creatives aged under 30, in fields including graphic design, photography, illustration, advertising and art direction, environmental design, film, animation & video, interactive design, product design and typography.
The UK winners are:

• Johnny Kelly-Self-employed
• Adam Simpson-Self-employed
• Jim Stoten-Self-employed
• Bianca Wendt-Bianca Wendt Ltd.
• Greg White-Self-employed
Other notable winners include PetPunk, the crazy Lithuanian studio.
A selection of winning work will shortly go on display in New York. Winners also get a chance to create original artwork for the Ace Hotel, also in New York.
This year's winners joins an elite group, including former rising stars who went on to become leaders in their chosen fields such as Stefan Sagmeister and James Victore (graphic design), Deanne Cheuk (illustration), Jeremy Floto and Cassandra Warner (aka floto+warner, photography), Alexander Gelman (advertising), Rei Inamoto and Jerome Austria (interactive media), Mike Mills (film and video), Alex Trochut (typography), Todd St. John (animation) and others.
