Season 8 introduced a new opening title sequence, and a new main title with softened 'X' appeared in Season 9.

On March 24, 2015, it was confirmed the series would return with six episode. It will begin filming in summer 2015, with Duchovny and Anderson reprising their roles. I'm hoping they maintain the spirit of the original title sequence but update the logo with Trixie HD.
